The Hectares Sweet Potato Crisps were too die for! I gobbled up them so fast I didn’t save any for Steven, haha. The fudge was wonderful too, though I could practically feel it rotting my teeth. The Hotpot packet was great, had it with breakfast the other day.
All in all I love The Vegan Kind, they’re a great little company based in Glasgow and I met Karris at the Flying Duck in Glasgow last month. They even featured my Salted Chocolate Tart for #TVK6
It’s nice to see your face again! It’s been a while
I love what they’re doing too. Great to see them highlighting some of the less-well known companies out there.
I think I’m most excited to try the raw biscuits. The sweet potato crisps do sound pretty good though…
Congrats on the recipe feature!
Wasn’t a fan of the raw biscuits. Weird flavour combination and the sweetness wasn’t quite right for me
How lovely to join you while you were opening the box Emma, there’s no way I would have time to set up a video - I don’t have your patience! I’ve just got in from work and I ate 3 (yes 3) slices of flapjack made with the coconut sugar that was in the box last month while I watched your review!
Oh and thank you for mentioning me
It actually didn’t take that long. I just stuck my camera on top of a pile of dictionaries!
mmmmm flapjack
Congrats on the recipe feature too. I love all your dips.
Thank you! I tried to subscribe to your youtube channel but for some reason I’m having problems logging in - recipe demos on youtube soon?
I have a channel?! haha, I’m not sure about thr recipe demos. This was just a bit of fun.
Lovely to see you do a video Emma and ‘meet’you! I have never heard of The Vegan Kind Box so thank you for introducing it to me, I will check it out. Great to see Jo’s Wholeplus products in there too!
It was such a nice surprise to see Jo’s hot-pots in there! Glad you enjoyed the vid
Aw, loved your review and good to hear your voice again (since we met what feels like a thousand years ago!) So glad you got a Hot-Pot and thank you for your lovely words in your review. All the goodies look amazing!
It does feel like a thousand years ago doesn’t it?! I’m actually going to Veg Fest Bristol next weekend!
Looking forward to that Hot-Pot
Great to “see” you, and I love your accent!
Cool to know that The Vegan Kind Box is out there for you! First I’ve head of it, very exciting. Fun watching you dig into the goodies, and listening to your descriptions - I’m sure fellow UK vegans will be happy to read this post, I’ll do some sharing too. xx
Thanks Dreena, it was just a bit of fun. I love that the Vegan Kind are supporting smaller, less well-known companies. Always a good thing!
It’s nice to put a voice to your name and face
This looks like such a great initiative, and your products all sound wonderful. How fun to get to do this review.
I like to be able to hear bloggers’ voices too
It’s a great scheme I think. A way of being introduced to those companies you might well not come across otherwise.
Love it, Emma! Nice to meet you. It should come as no shock, but you do have a British accent!
It is fun to see what kind of vegan treats there are in the UK.
haha, surprise surprise!
It’s a good little scheme they’ve got going. I love discovering new ethical and vegan products.
I love your video review (very informative) and this vegan kind box - what a great idea! I imagine those sweet potato chips are dee-lish!
I think I’ll be digging into the sweet potato crisps later today!
It was fun to put together a little vid
I love that vegan box schemes are available here now. It’s nice to see one with a good mix of stuff, rather than just sweet treats - I might be tempted to give them a go…
I like that aspect of it too. I probably have enough sweet stuff in my life so I like that there’s a whole range of things in there, including beauty and home products.
YOU ARE SO CUTE I CANNOT STAND IT. also, the box looks awesome. food AND beauty supplies AND home supplies AND accessories? i want to try!
Haha, thanks…I guess?!
The box is so fun, isn’t it? It’s fun not to have a whole array of things.
it was meant to be a compliment. you’re a cutie and i love your accent <3
😉 xox
Omg all of those products look so amazing!! I want it all! I’m totally going to check them out. I’m so glad you talked about them and I love the video! The hazelnut and peppermint biscuits sound so divine…how did they taste??
The hazelnut peppermint biscuits are wonderful! Definitely my fave thing in the box.
Duh, I’m a dufus, it’s in the UK so I can’t get it but it still looks fabulous and I just love your voice! 😉
Sorry about that Brandi. Just UK and Europe for now.
And thanks for the sweet comment
It was so lovely to see you on film ♥ You should definitely do more v-logs in the future!
Hehe, thanks Sharon. It was just a bit of fun. How are you enjoying the goodies from this last month’s box?
