An exciting new product has hit the shelves here in England! Rebel Kitchen Coconut Milk Drinks!
Growing up I loved chocolate, banana and strawberry milk as a bedtime snack and I know my nephews and niece now do too. Looking at the stuff I used to drink I see it’s marketed as an “irresistibly delicious, extra nutritious drink”.
Hmmm, I’m not sure I’m convinced…it was essentially just sugar and flavourings you mixed into milk. Although I don’t consume dairy primarily for ethical reasons, I don’t think it’s healthy either.
It definitely was tasty though so it’s pretty cool to find an alternative that is not only yummy but actually healthy too!
Rebel Kitchen’s Coconut Milk Drinks have just a few ingredients, all of which are real foods- Water, Coconut Milk, Date Nectar and Cacao, with the addition of Crushed Banana in the “Banana Mylk” and Orange Oil in the “Orange-Choc Mylk”. Nothing to complain about there.
We all know I’m coconut crazy too so the fact they’re made from coconut milk is a big tick in my box.
And isn’t the packaging adorable? As a (nearly!) 24-year old, I love it so I can imagine kids must go crazy for the cute little characters.
I struggled to pick a favourite flavour. Yum all round. They’re not cloyingly sweet at all and the individual flavours really stand out from each other. I gather testing is in process to add new flavours to the line so stay tuned! I’m hoping for strawberry as that was a definite childhood favourite…
Rebel Kitchen is a very new company so their products aren’t all that widely available in stores just yet. You can find them in London Whole Foods Markets, Lomax gym in Chelsea, inSpiral Lounge in Camden and The Natural Kitchen in Marylebone at the moment. Connect with them on Facebook and Twitter for news on the latest stockists.
But, those outside London, do not fear! You can also order online. They sell 3, 12 and 24 packs in each of the flavours as well as taster packs containing one of each variety.
Definitely not just for kids!

Oh these sound fantastic!!
So so good. I love being a kid again!
These look great! I’m with you on hoping for a strawberry one- I’ve yet to find a natural, non-dairy alternative to strawberry milk that tastes good!
Judging by how good the current flavours are I have faith that they’ll come up with a tasty strawberry variety too 😀 I’d love to see a mocha version, though I suppose that wouldn’t be so kid-friendly!
Oooo those look awesome, I haven’t seen them up here
They are! As I mentioned, they’re such a young company that they’re only selling in London and online right now. I’m sure they’ll make their way up north soon
I love that they’re sweetened with date nectar! That’s another big win! I used to love those flavored milks when I was younger too. We even had them at the vending machine at my middle school. Banana and strawberry were my favorite. It’s hilarious/sad that they’re marketed as nutritious. What a joke! Even sadder that a lot of people actually believe it. I dream of the day when packaged beverages such as these take over!
Me too! We need to get those fake foods out and the real foods back in!
These are really really good and I’m thrilled with the ingredients list.
I’ve been thinking about getting these, freezing them as ice cubes, and using them as ice cream seeing as I was so disappointed by the coyo ice creams xx
Hmmmm, interesting thought. I have a feeling they wouldn’t get very creamy. They’re more like Koko coconut milk than the canned kind. I prefer a richer ice cream base!
These are so fun!
So cute. I think kids would adore them!
i need these in my life so badly
You do! Have you not tried them yet?!
I love the packaging! I would buy them for that reason alone, he he he. I don’t know how I feel about chocolate orange mylk but I’d be all for a strawberry version. Banana sounds interesting too. I will have to check if they deliver to US. Thanks for the review Emma!
I’m a sucker for cute packaging! These do taste good as well as look good though. As they’re so new they don’t ship outside of the UK yet but I’m sure it’ only a matter of time!
These look awesome, love the ingredients, will have to try!
I’m surprised you haven’t tried them yet! Seriously good.
Perfect for instant refuel after a run too
I already love these simply based on the packaging!
I’m such a sucker for packaging. But these are great products as well as looking fabulous 😀
They look fab! Hopefully they’ll be in shops in Scotland soon, I’d love to try some.
Hopefully soon! They are very new but seem to be growing very fast!
I LOVE the packaging and the healthy ingredients that go into these coconut milk drinks - I’d love if they started selling them in Belgium - I’m going to keep my eye out 😀
I have no doubt they’ll make it out of England before too long. They’re such great products and the company seems to be growing really quickly
Why not let them know you want them over in Belgium?!
These are so cute! I wasn’t a big fan of dairy drinks as a child, but did enjoy the occasional flavoured milk. I’ve been delighted to see the range of non-dairy milks in Australia increase exponentially in recent years, but nothing compares to these! It’s lucky I’m moving 😉
It it isn’t it?! 😀
I hated milk as a child and the only way I would drink it was if it was flavoured!
Oh my god, these are amazing! I’m in love with the label designs to begin with, but the flavors are so exciting too. You just don’t see many flavored “milks” on the market at all. I sure wish they would come to the states, and soon!
They are so cute aren’t they?! This is the first of this kind of thing I’ve seen here too so even more exciting! I thought you had a load of flavoured non-dairy milks stateside? I’m thinking of those Christmas flavours- eggnog, chocolate mint, etc…
I am so excited about these! They sound like a fantastic, healthy beverage for kids (young and old 😉 ) Cool packaging too! I must see if I can get some for Lil’ . I’m sure he’ll love them! ♥
You HAVE to get them Sharon! You and Lil’L will love them I’m sure
You can order in bulk online!
I actually found these in Budgens, if you can believe it. But that makes me happy as Whole Foods et al have a habit of making healthy alternatives out of reach and elitest.
Love Rebel Kitchen. Esp the chocolate. More please!
No way! Great to hear that they’re really getting around. I’m excited to try the new “adult” flavours- matcha and chai
