Review: Superfoodies Granola

Very happy to introduce a brand-new product to you today- Superfoodies granola!

Review: Superfoodies Granola (raw, vegan, gluten-free, organic & paleo-friendly!) | coconutandberries.com

Long-term readers will know that I’m a big fan of raw foods. Not that I eat exclusively raw by any means, but salads, smoothies, raw desserts and snacks are some of my favourite foods. I’ve actually just added a “Raw” category to my recipe database so you can find all my raw recipes in one place.

I do have quite a lot of kitchen equipment…but one thing I don’t yet have is a dehydrator. If you’re familiar with raw food, you’ll know that a dehydrator is a magical device that enables you to make foods which are still 100% raw and which therefore retain all their natural goodness and flavour, yet have the texture of cooked foods: Raw cookies, breads and crackers, tart crusts, pizza bases, kale chips and other veggie chips, burgers, fruit leather…the list goes on.

“Red” granola with soy yogurt, blueberries and nectarine

I’d especially love to be able to make my own raw granola (rawnola!), but in the meantime I’m very happy with this one from Superfoodies. It’s 100% raw, organic, vegan, gluten-free and even paleo-friendly.

The ingredients are basically just nuts, seeds, dates and superfoods! All super nutritious and super delicious!

Superfoodies Granola (Cacao Nibs & Maca) | coconutandberries.com

“Brown” granola with banana and coconut milk

Superfoodies granola comes in 3 flavours- Goji & Açai, Cacao nibs & Maca and Coconut & Spirulina.

It’s super crunchy and doesn’t go soggy even when drowned in almond milk. I loved that it has really big clusters too. It means it’s just as good for eating straight out of the bag as a snack as it is with your favourite non-dairy milk or yogurt for breakfast, or as a smoothie topper.

The “Brown” one is my personal favourite. It’s rich, chocolatey and not too sweet.

You can buy Superfoodies granola online through Detox Your World (shipping is Europe-wide) and I think they’re soon to launch in health food stores (if they haven’t already.

Have you tried (or made!) raw granola?

Yum! I never really got into regular granola, but the raw type does appeal and these flavours sound delicious. I would also love those large clusters - excellent snacking :)

Excellent snacking indeed! I love mixing it up with tangy yogurt too- cuts the sweetness a little.

Thanks for the heads up that it’s in health food stores. I thought I had seen it but wasn’t sure.
Hope you get to try the other flavours soon!

Ahh, I’ve been debating buying this for ages but was slightly put off by the price! It looks super delicious though so I think I might have to invest in some :) x

You should definitely treat yourself to a pack 😉 Have you tried the inSpiral granola bites? This is a little sweeter and chewier.

We got a dehydrator earlier this year, but haven’t tried making granola in it-now I’m inspired to try!

It is a great appliance though, you should definitely consider one!

Ooooh, very jealous! I am certainly considering one…

I have never tried raw granola before, in fact I didn’t even know it was a thing until I started seeing it pop up around blogs! I’m sure I would love it, but I definitely am a BIG fan of the warm, crunchy, sticky-sweet oven type of granola. It’s so bad, it’s hard for me not to eat a whole tray full. This looks like a wonderful brand!!

Granola out the oven is dangerous! I imagine it’s the same with a batch out of a dehydrator though!

I always though raw granola would be more like a muesli but this look fantastic - I love the clusters! Will keep my eye open for this brand!

I just so happen to eating homemade granola drenched in almond milk while reading this :)

I actually broke some of the clusters up to eat them like a cereal as they were SO big!

Looks totally delicious, wish I had a dehydrator so I could make stuff like this.

For some reason I thought you had one..? I’ve got one on my Christmas list but I don’t know if I can wait that long!

The packaging is gorgeous…and the ingredients sound wonderful and nutritious, I love dates, nuts, seeds and superfoods! This looks so good with banana and coconut milk! I would like to try the Goji & Acai first, but the Green granola looks so pretty! I’ve never made raw granola before, but would love to pack that up for my upcoming flights! :)

It would be a great flight snack! The big clusters are so moreish and it’s really sustaining too.
