I hope you love green foods as much as me! The colour alone makes me happy but they’re of course full of good nutrients to make you feel good physically too. You don’t have to eat a leafy salad to get your greenery in if that’s not your cup of tea. Try my “Green Power Burgers”! Tasty and satisfying and made with only whole foods.
You won’t find the recipe here today but please pop over to Ricki Heller’s site where I’m guest posting. Ricki is one of my all-time favourite bloggers and recipe-developers so I’m particularly pleased to be sharing my recipe over there. I’d love your support and comments there! Thank you.

Seeing green in my food makes me giddy! Having a whole BURGER full of greens. I would be beside myself with glee. Off to check it out!
Hehe. Thanks Joanne. Nice to know you share my excitement 😀
I knew without even looking at the recipe that I was interested in these burgers!!!
Yay! Thank Elaine. Hope you like the recipe
Looks great x
Yum - these look fantastic Emma! I definitely love green food! 😉 I try to eat as much green as possible, so glad to get another recipe to try! Thank you! And such beautiful pictures as always!
Me too! Green is the best 😀 Hope you get to try these. I did stash a few in the freezer but have eaten them all already 😉
Looks delicious! I try to have something green for every meal. I always like trying new veggie burger recipes too. Heading to Ricki’s site to check them out.
Thanks Anna! I’m the same, a meal doesn’t feel complete without some green on my plate. Hope you like the recipe.
The recipe looks fabulous! Love the combo of edamame and buckwheat!
On my way! What a delicious looking burger!
Thanks Heather. I thought they were very yummy!
I can definitely see some of those burgers in my future! I love the idea of soy beans and basil together. Delicious. What’s the sauce on your burgers?
Thanks Joey. I love packing my food with lots of fresh herbs. I miss my summer herb garden
I think I mentioned the sauce on Ricki’s page- it’s the Raw Aioli (brazil and cashew) from Dreena Burton’s “Let Them Eat Vegan”. Much nicer than mayo imho!
Green is my absolute favourite colour, and I love eating green too. These burgers are now on the to-do list!
Great, hope you like them 😀 Green food is the best!
